I have a Idromed 5PS which I purchased almost 1 year ago. I used to get good results from it but now the effect has diminished to the point where I can treat my hands at 17mA with no sensation. I treated my hands every day for the past couple of months with no results.
I've gone through your message board for help and have tried every suggestion I could find: adding baking powder, cleaning the plates, soaking the electrodes in vinegar, staying well hydrated before therapy, not using any soap or creams on my hands before therapy, etc.
The plates are aluminum and there is some oxidation around the electrodes. Can the wires be soldered directly to the plates to avoid the riveted electrodes?
Do you have any other suggestions?
