Hi Markus,
I remember reading somewhere in the forum where it was said that the ionto device works on the hydrolosis effect which means water and electrical resistance of the body. Since I did studied mechanical and electrical in school, it made me wondering about the following:
1. Will what we eat or drink or have in our stomach affect the ionto device's treatment? I always try to eat something before treatment like bread, fruit and a cup of plain water or tea.
2. Is there any food or drink that we should avoid before treatment?
3. When is a good time for treatment? Before or after meal?
Food and drinks can be acidic or alkaline in nature. Tap water itself is neutral to alkaline. I remember that I drank hot coffee before my first treatment in a clinic. The hot coffee trigger my sweating and I had instant results for the first treatment. |

dear mr9sky
sure what we eat and drink affects the iontophoresis treatment, but (mostly) only in regards of the bodies resistant, when there is no problem wiht the success of the treatment it is not neccessary to think about to change the lifestyle
same is for nutrition supplements like vitamins
the best is to hear to your body, he will tell you when it is the best time to do the treatments, following the bodys bio rhytm maybe there is a certain time you can stand the treatments better and maybe through this drive higher currents that can lead into a enhanced sweat reduction effect
it is better to take a look to maintain a good humidity level in the skin, take a look at a good iontophoresis aftercare like current care _________________ You are welcome...
