| Is it necessary to use the step-up transformer in the US? Will a generic transformer/adapter that changes the voltage work instead? I´ve been using the device in Europe with great success but am now based in the US and don't have the step up converter. |

You can use any 110 to 240 V converter.
Can you please leave a success story on the success board on these forums, or if you have posted one in the past, provide an update to it?
