I've always wondered why this is the case. However, I understand that only members can have that information.

Hi, so I took roughly 4-5 weeks off, bought volvic water and have been treating everyday. Still no results. Any ideas? I just don't understand how it stopped working like this. Things were great for 5 years. Thanks.

I've also replaced the plates and wires, but that hasn't helped either

What Iontophoresis device (model) do you use ?: Hidrex PSP1000

Initial therapy finished since: Started in 2014? I found that it would reset every time i got sick or had a fever so I would have to redo the therapy every time i got a cold. But usually 3 treatments in I would be back to total dryness.

Maintenance Treatments since: see above. Things stopped working properly back in august?

How long did the Initial therapy take (in days) ?: usually 3 days

How many times in the week do you treat , how long and at which current rate? usually everyday until dryness then once per week. 15 mins each hand, 30 V

How high is the water in the trays? around finger nails

Have you changed anything in your maintenance Treatments since doing 2 times your personal initial therapy (Treatment strength, frequency, time ) ? I've increased everything and nothings working. It always feels the same, and im not getting the results i used to get

Have you had serious injuries, or operations? no

Do you eat loads of fresh fruit? no

Has something changed in your Lifestyle since the double Initial time? Everything is important (Lifestyle, mental, emotional, medications, piercings, tatoos, alcohol, drugs, family situation... anything else)? I've moved but use the same water.

Has anything else changed (weather, food, job, etc. Have you done something extraordinary) in your behavior or mental bio Feeling/rhythm? no

Have you moved since you lost success? yes but I've used the water from my old house (parents home) and still no success

Have you recently installed a water softener, or any kind of water filter or water treatment (ionic/osmosis, etc.) in your house? no

Do you take any nutrition supplements like vitamins? no

Skin care: If you use a skin cream, which one do you use? no

Do you take any oral medication (any kind, like Vagatin, Aspirin, etc.)? no

Do you still have the feeling that the current is present,? yes, any small cuts burn and the treatment still stings.

Did something change regarding the quality of your water? no

I really have no explanation for this. Things were going really well for a long time and I was finding out what works for me. Then all of a sudden everything just started being weird.

PostPosted: Fri Nov 22, 2019 3:46 pm    Post subject: Strange response to iontophoresis

Hi, so I've had success with iontophoresis for 5 years now but now it is not working and something strange is happening. When ever I treat it just makes my hands worse, so I was looking online for solutions and people were suggesting I take a 3-4 week break. I thought that sounded like a miserable month but I decided to do it either way. To my surprise, following one week of no treatment, my hands were dry again for the next roughly 3 weeks.

Once the sweating started again I've done 3 treatments and it feels the same as before my break. My hands sweat a lot after treatment and it never used to be like this for the 5 years where it worked properly.

Any ideas?

PS, I've used tap water, mineral water, Epsom salt, baking soda and calcium carbonate.
