Iontophoresis and metal parts: In general, when the metal parts are not in the current way it is not a problem. Means: If you dont treat your Head-sweating it doesnt bother when you have metal braces for your teeth. The most current flows over the skin from one pole directly to the other (the way of the smallest resistant)
E.g. you have to put off a metal ring (jewellery), when treating the hands, but you dont have to take this ring off when treating sweaty feet or armpit sweating.

Message: Hi, I am planning orthodontic treatment (braces) and wonder if it will be safe for me to use the iontrophoresis with metal braces in my mouth?
